DESCRIPTION:


ADMINISTRATIVE:

  • Directly supervises home finding staff, including home finder from Brooklyn, Queens and Brentwood offices.
  • Monitors and participates in all training by staff and with staff, including Mapp, Minimapp, PST and cluster.
  • Provides weekly supervision for all home finding staff.
  • Insures that all re-certifications are completed in a timely manner, reviews them, and provides feedback to administrative staff.

SERVICE DELIVERY/OPERATIONS:

  • Participates in bi-weekly intake meetings, with information on available homes, homes that are in the process of being opened, and issues that may exist within each foster home.
  • 24 hour/7 day week cell phone coverage, to be available to locate homes on an emergency basis.
  • Review all home studies and insure that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Insure that all homes be in compliance with ACS regulations.
  • Locate and participate as needed in recruitment events, activities, and workshops, presenting the program in a positive, helpful manner.
  • Maintaining a professional manner with staff, foster parents and youth, being aware of boundaries, and maintaining these boundaries at all times.

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS:

  • Forge a mutually respectful relationship between staff and foster parents; act as advocate for foster parents when necessary, and hold them accountable for their actions and responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree required. MSW preferred.

Schedule: Full-Time
