Social Worker

JCCA is seeking Social Workers to provide treatment and case planning for children with emotional problems who require residential treatment and for their families in accordance with Agency policy/governmental regulations. Social Workers will provide therapeutic services to children and families with a minimum of one therapeutic contact per youth per week. Floater Milieu Counselor

(Pleasantville, NY)

The floater milieu counselor creates a safe and secure environment that provides for the physical and emotional needs of youth in our care. Adequate supervision and knowledge of the whereabouts of all cottage residents at all times is primary. The Milieu counselor is an integral member of the treatment team and as such their interventions must be therapeutic and reflect a clinical understanding of the youth. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/Equivalent with demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse clients and teams. Must pass Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (“TCI”) training every six months. Health Care Integrator

The HCI is responsible for the management and coordination of all Medicaid related services. Their focus is on coordinating clinical services and support, using strengths’ based, Family to Family practice as well as focusing on the wellbeing of the family and the community, thereby decreasing the need for out-of-home placements. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or other related field and four years of experience in service coordination. Bilingual/Spanish preferred. Mental Health Care Coordinator

The program serves seriously emotionally disturbed children providing clinical services focusing on maintaining children and their families in the community and overseeing family linkages and referrals to community-based services. Duties include community social work, ongoing clinical work with families based on strength-based service plans, coordination of services and supervision of service providers.
